Nelvin De La Rosa

Nelvin De La Rosa’s biggest dream has always been to become a billionaire. About four years ago, he started searching for an industry where that goal had no ceiling. Fashion was one of the few fields where he saw limitless potential, and he became obsessed with learning everything he could about building a brand.

Around that same time, he earned an internship with Loc'd and Lit, who later connected him with SoHarlem. Everything seemed to align. There, he learned the foundations of garment construction—from pattern making and cutting and sewing to developing clean craftsmanship, precision, and patience.

What began as a pursuit of financial success gradually became something much deeper: a genuine love for the art of fashion. Today, his ambition is no longer driven only by building a billion-dollar company, but by creating meaningful work that reflects his vision. De La Rosa’s long-term goal is to launch his own fashion house, Canvas: The Art Gallery, where every collection is approached as a work of art and every garment is created with intention.
