Fred Quenzer

Fred Quenzer is a seasoned legal professional, technologist and innovator. His expertise spans financial markets, business, not-for-profit regulations, and intellectual property law. Fred is currently Senior Counsel advising on complex legal and regulatory issues impacting the over-the-counter derivatives market. Before entering the legal field, Fred established a rewarding career in information technology, where he designed, built and maintained global computer systems. This foundation in technology gives him practical insight into the challenges industries face as they adapt to technological transformation.
Beyond his work in international finance, Fred is a successful entrepreneur who founded and supported several small businesses. He has also advised not-for-profits on governance and tax-exempt issues. He is passionate about fostering a local, diverse, and sustainable creator economy.
Fred holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New York. He lives in Morningside Heights with his wife, Mary, and their two rescue dogs where he enjoys sharpening his strategic skills with tabletop board games.
