Despite our current challenges and a future filled with uncertainties, SoHarlem has been working toward the future by embracing its mission which has even greater significance given the gross inequities this pandemic has laid bare, and that our communities face. To support racial equity and employment in Harlem … The photos below, taken by Regine Michel who was looking to photograph “sad individuals”, did not require us to pose. We were working on the new layout for our Designers’ Studio to accomodate more machinery that will enable us to expand our training programs.
