Basic course

Open to the public, the eight-week course includes machine safety and operation, and hand sewing techniques: seam finishing, buttonholes, basting, over-casting, cross stitching, measuring, pattern drafting, and an introduction to textiles.

Note: Student chooses a garment of interest—pants, vest, jacket, skirt, or shirt—for their final project.

Registration is $750, for eight-week class which includes sewing kit (scissors, tape measures, tailor chalk, etc.)

Due to COVID19 and the need to ensure social distancing, we are only accepting six students for this eight week session.

Class Schedule:

Begins Saturday, May 11, 2024 until Saturday July 6, 2024

Session 1 Begins at 9:00AM ends at 12:00PM

Session 2 Begins at 12:30PM ends at 3:30PM
